This qualification structure consists of two mandatory units, which learners must complete successfully in order to achieve the qualification:

In line with industry guidance, the qualification supports/approves first aiders for a period of 3 years, at which point learners will need to resit the course, however the recommendation is that learners refresh their knowledge annually.
This qualification is typically delivered on a two-day training course.
