Aim: The Level 3 Award in Prevention of Extremism and Terrorism is aimed at security staff of large corporations who maybe targeted by such activity. The course is aimed as being a ‘next step up the ladder’ in learning and development for security guards who have daily interactions with staff and the general public.

• Be able to identify daily sources of intelligence
• Being aware of the law when engaging with suspects and members of the public
• Identification of hostile reconnaissance
• First steps when dealing with incidents
